Last night our one year old baby, Magali, couldn´t stop crying. She was exhibiting all signs of what we, Aztecs, call susto.
I prayed for her all night. I put my feet on the floor and asked Mother Earth to send me her healing power for my baby. I saw my hair connect with the sky and asked Father Sky to send me his healing power for my baby.
Both currents came and all exploded my heart to hers. A huge cloud of white light surrounded us all night.
Today is Magali´s birthday. This morning we sang her the Dutch birthday song, the `Happy Birthday`, `Las Mañanitas’ (the Mexican Birthday song). So I couldn’t help look for songs in Nahuatl. I found this song. It was just perfect follow up after a night of praying for the healing of my little one. I cried and felt that your Soul needed to vibrate to this healing sounds. (My best translation below) It’s a loving reminder that we are protected. We are protected by the love of all those loved ones gone. Walk with peace and remember that you are safe.
