The Hustle culture has many famous and successful promoters. Think about Gary V and Elon Musk.
- Elon says: You just have to put in 80 to 100 hour weeks every week
- Bill Gates says: I never took a day off in my twenties. Not one.
- Thomas Edison: There is no substitute for hard work
- Gary says: Without hustle, your talent will only get you so far
I agree. There's no substitute for action. Action is why we are here on this planet. We're spiritual being having a human experience and to take action is a delicious path to creating experience.
Even more, when we don't take action and purely sit down to visualize and pretend to be happy, we become depressed.
However, pure hustle is dangerous. When we don't give ourselves time to smell the roses, we don't allow our brain to fully function, our body becomes ill and much worse we miss the joyful party of life.
In today's video I talk about the subtleties of when to hustle and when not to. This time I'll talk about it from a spiritual and emotional perspective. I drew inspiration from the work of Dr. David Hawkins and spiritual teachers Abraham Hicks. I found their work very complimentary and practical for female entrepreneurs. They give us specific pointers when to push with business techniques and when to allow with spiritual principles.
Dr Hawkins has published many books. Today the focus is on his book "Power vs Force". Highly recommended reading! His insights are so profound and yet so practical.
Enjoy!
